SEO & Backlink Building
SEO and backlink building have been a big part of my July progress update for Digital Dreams Printables, even though I know this is an area that feels overwhelming for most people (myself included sometimes!). Diving into search engine optimization and trying to build quality backlinks is definitely a learning curve, but every bit of effort adds up over time. This month, I focused on making small, consistent improvements—submitting my site to directories, researching keywords, and writing original articles to boost my site’s visibility.
While it’s not always the most glamorous side of running a creative business, I know these steps are essential for helping new dreamers find Digital Dreams Printables. Here’s a quick summary of the progress I’ve made with SEO and backlink building this month:
- Submitted my site to several niche and general directory listings for quality backlinks.
- Wrote original articles for directory submissions and profile listings.
- Collected and tracked keywords for every blog post, page, and new product.
- Began a consistent routine of optimizing posts for long-tail search terms.
Business & Brand Growth
Finally, July has been a month of real growth for both the business and the Digital Dreams Printables brand. As I work on shaping the heart and voice of my brand, I’m learning how much these behind-the-scenes efforts matter for long-term success.
Whether I’m refining my systems, setting up better workflows or tinkering with settings, every step helps for future growth. It isn’t always easy to juggle so many pieces, but I keep reminding myself that sustainable progress is built on small, steady actions. Here’s a look at how I’ve been nurturing business and brand growth throughout July:
- Defined my brand’s voice and content strategy: calming, human, and gently motivating.
- Refined my workflow for product creation, blog writing, and content batching for smoother launches in the future.
- Outlined best-case-scenario SOPs for building new products and launching with less stress.
- Applied for several remote jobs and VA contracts to supplement my income during this growth phase.
- Started tracking pitches and networking with other women-led businesses and tutoring companies for future collaboration.
And if all of this sounds like a lot, that’s because it is! Growing a business, building a website, and keeping up with all the moving parts can be overwhelming, even for someone who loves the work. I got all of this done with my ADHD super power: hyperfocus! If you ever feel like you need help, support, or a bit of gentle guidance, please know you’re not alone. It’s completely okay (and honestly, smart) to ask for help or outsource the pieces that feel heavy. That’s part of building a sustainable business, too.
